SAE Students - winners at LEAD INDIA, an initiative by TIMES OF INDIA   Jyotsna Khatry and Priyanshu from Digital Film Making (SAE COLLEGE - BANGALORE) have won FIRST prize in LEAD INDIA video competition.   The movement LEAD INDIA sets a platform for compatriots work together and setting a breakthrough. This movement is a resolution intended to refine Indian rights from its grassroots. Recently held video competition sponsored by LEAD INDIA-TIMES OF INDIA initiative was a step forward for the Idea discussed above. The concept of L.I.V.E. was to make a video on the Lead India Anthem (Phalak pakad ke utho...). The video shot by Jyotsna Khatry and Priyanshu delivers basic education among children residing in slums (dominating India).There is an increasing number of slums in all the cities. Cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata have growing slum populations, of which children are a major proportion. Educating slum children can help avoid their exclusion from a range of opportunities available. Yet, several factors conspire to deprive them of education. Even we, sometimes knowingly or unknowingly, dishearten and demoralize such children to have proper education. If we start teaching the slum children and help them join schools, we may one day end up making India, have smarter citizens. The Video is not just a documentary on bottlenecks induldging in failure of such education but is the showcase of the ways to attain the same. The Mission is worth kudos if it invariably affects the country's progress globally WE just need aptitude.
