| WORKSHOP ON ELECTRONIC MUSIC PRODUCTION HELD AT SAE |
| Workshop on EMP have been held in both the Banglore and Chennai Centers last week with the objective of spreading awareness about EMP among the music enthusiasts. |

| A group of musicians came to SAE Studios in Chennai on the 26 th of this month for a second session on EMP. These participants had earlier attended a lecture cum demo
session on EMP on the 19th of April.While the first session on EMP gave the participants an introduction to Electronic Music Production ,the second
helped then get a hands on experience in music production.Mr. Raj- faculty member Audio made both the sessions informative and interactive. The Theme for the day was REMIX and Mr. Raj
after his demo ,made the participants contribute to the song chosen. There were many enthusiastic volunteers and together the team came up with many creative ideas for the remix.
The icing on the cake was that all the ideas were allowed to be tested .The participants went back very satisfied with all the food for thought they had received that day. |

| SAE banglore saw a fantastic response for the EMP Workshop conducted at the campus on 26th of April .Mr Rishikesh Hari,Faculty member -Audio( Banglore) kept the
participants in groove by inaugurating the session with his own composition and moving on from there to how the song was composed . The session then continued
on the lines of current technological advancements in this field,comparison between the various methods of recording etc.
The interactive Demo session which demystified electronicmusic creation left the participants spell bound on all that could be created through producing music electronically. Mr. hari grabbed the attention of the group by creating a one minute song
on the spot using Nuendo . When one of the participants asked about how to record vocals,it was immediately demonstrated through a live recording.
The workshop was successful in not only creating awareness about EMP but also in creating the desire in many who attended the program to learn the art. |
