Animation and games have come a long way since the monotone pixels of Odyssey and Pong. Successive generations of hardware has opened the doors for more closer to life gaming experience; and with technology everexpanding the storyteling possibilities of the medium has the animation and gaming industry hunting today for animators who can redefine the capabilities of the digital screen.
Our 18 month program is designed to open up the world of animation and gaming for you by developing skills tailor made to create next generations of gaming experience.
This is drawn out in three semesters- six months each, emphasizing on 2D and 3D Animation. Hands on experience on software’s - Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, Toon Boom, Frame Forge, Nuendo, Avid, Adobe Premier, Maya, Max and Combustion give students total exposure and self-assurance to enter the trade of animation and games on the completion of the course.
Semester I:
Communication Theories, Fundamentals of Design, Drawing Methodologies, Character Construction, 2D Animation Principles, Animation Styles, Character Animation, Use of Sound, Motion Depiction, Keyframe Animation, In-betweening & Lip Syncing
Course Outcome:
• Designing for Ads, Brochure, Business card or CD cover design
• Life Drawing, Portrait, Landscapes/Mock ups.
• 2D Experimental Animation
• Short 2D animated film
Semester II:
Interactive Design, Game Level Design Theories, Methods, Styles, Scripting, Storyboarding, Animatics, Narrative Flow, Character Development, Digital Audio and Video Production, Principles of 3D Animation, Texturing, Animation for Multimedia and Games.

Semester III
Advanced 3 D Animation, MED 103, 3D Modeling Principles, 3D Character Set-Ups, Lighting Fundamentals, Lip-Syncing, Composition, Advances in 3D Animation
Course Outcome: 60 seconds Animated Film
